She will be sixty soon and due to claim old age pension,can she claim both?What should she do/

Report the matter to the SSS or GSIS because claims are based on their rules and regulations stated in the guidelines provided for.

Dont be silly. The government will rob her of her entitlement. I was on incapacity but because of savings i could claim nothing. So much for saving for my future. Having savings penalised me for any Handouts .

Get talking with them quickly - it can be a nightmare. I had a relative in the same position - nobody in the government seemed to know any ruling and all departments gave different answers

The best thing is for your wife to visit DWP and ask for the review pack - this will point her in the necessary direction - it will possibly involve a medical appraisal.

I think she will need to get in touch with the local dss office they will be able to give her a the info she needs. or get in touch with the pensions office they will help too.

It all depends, if she's from Eastern Europe, Asia or the Caribbean she can have the lot, if however she's English and has worked all her life she'll get nothing.
