my last normal period was on dec 23rd 2006 two weeks later i spotted for a day but not like a period 2 weeks ago i took a hpt and it came ut neg,my breast have been sore but i thought maybe my period was comming i'm mixed up on wether to call the spotting i had a period or b not.toay is febuaty 13th

It sounds more like you have a hormonal imbalance and that your cycle is not regular.
Of course you COULD be pregnant, but it doesn't seem likely from your description.

You could be pregnant. Make an appointment and get a blood test done. You could just have an irregular period or there could be a problem. So just make an appointment and tell your doctor your concernd.
as for what the other girl said, if you took a test it would be accurate. You can take a test about 14 days (give or take a few) and get an accurate result.
There have been cases where you can have a blood test done, know for a fact your pregnant...feeling the baby move and everything and you can take an HPT and it will come up negative. Its happend befor. Its very rare but who knows its a possibility.

that sounds exactly like what happened to me. i knew the day i got pregnant (i know that sounds impossible- but true). exactly 12 days later i spotted (that's the implantation bleeding). and from there i started to feel extremely tired and my breasts were crazy sore. it's different for every women but i pretty much experienced what you went through. good luck! i also took 3 htp's and they all came out negative. but i knew i was pregnant! i had to wait until my hcg hormones kicked in. the hpts detect hcg levels (pregnancy hormone) which determines a positive or negative answer. so taking the test too early could mean simply that... try and wait and take one after you've missed your period, which i'm sure you already have.

you could be.although sore breast is also a sign of PMS.your 1 week delay when you took the test so its not accurate, but when you test again now the result will be accurate.
