Conspiracy theories are FUN! And they make good copy in newspapers and magazines, don't they! People are unable to let sleeping dogs lie. But then again, there MIGHT have been a conspiracy to kill JFK, and Diana, and Elvis is not dead! He was seen working in a Tesco store in Bournemouth, collecting trolleys. When asked for a trolley, he went "uh, huh, uh!, oh yeah!" I mean, what further proof do you need. I was talking about all this in the pub the other day with The Big Bopper and James Dean, and they both agreed!

Best thing I have heard or read.
People want balance in their lives.
ie Hitler was such a great evil it took a great effort to take him out.
So here is JFK a great president taken down by a single nut.

So to get balance they create the consiparcies.
