I have an unexplained rash. It is red and blotchy and all over my arms and legs but does not itch. I have already seen my GP, and have been for a blood test, the results for which I am now waiting for. Just wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar and whether it could maybe be something to do with the contraceptive pill I'm taking (I have been on this for 4 months and the doctor says it is highly unlikely that the rash is a reaction to my contraceptive.)
But if anyone has any information or has experienced anything similar I would be interested and grateful to hear about it. I wonder whether I should stop taking it while I'm waiting for the test results just to see if it has any effect on the rash?

I can't believe it but I had a rash that was on my arms, legs and tummy. I'd been taking Cerazette for a few months also. I ended up in Casualty on a anti-histamine drip! The only change I'd had was taking the pill. I stopped taking it and then started again a few months later and didn't get a rash. I was told at the hospital that they didn't think it was the pill.....but i'm not so sure! Good luck.
