I recently keep on having scary distressing. Often a couple of them a night. But before the part of the dream, were I am about to die/something awful happens, I wake up. What does this mean?

Tell me absolutely everything about your dreams, as I've enabled emails. I have a dream dictionary, so I can telll you everything about it, right down to what an earring or a fork means. Everything in your dream has a significance, even if they are stupid.

Hell, I had one where I was trying to steal crackers off a giant hamster in a maze, as we couldn't eat our cheese without it. But dreams mean more than it first seems. So explain your dream, and I can tell you what it means.

If you noticed it, it's important.

i think it means that there's a certain problem or issue(either current or past) that you're scared of facing. it's like everytime that issue or problem comes up you're scared to take it on head on- probably because you think facing the problem will have negative repurcussions.
i've always know dreams to be a reflectiong of what is in your sub-conscience so maybe you might want to revisit those "skeletons in the closet" to see which one is revisitng you or try to assess your current situation and try to identify the little dangers you might be ignoring or scared to face

You must be afraid of something. comsciously or unconsciously.

If you are a christian and you want this dream to stop, you pray before you go to sleep. Read Psalm 91.
