and was required to offer a bag to everyone who made a purchase. Quite often I would get the reply,"No thanks I have one at home already!" I would also often get women bitterly complaining of their husbands. So then here is my question. How can people treat the ones they have made a commitment too to spend the rest of their lives together for better or worse etc in such a disrespectful and shabby manner? I dont understand it at all.

Right you are! I have been married twenty plus years and I have never talked about my mate this way. To my knowledge my wife never said anything but good about me in public..but in private we air our differences as this is normal.

What are these people trying to say to the world? Methinks some just say this to be funny but ii is very disloyal to their mates who would probably die for them..you get my drift?

I don't understand this either. I've been married for 49 years. I have to admit, I make my spouse just as mad as I get at time, we do quarrel, that's life.
I don't buy any of this crap I hear from people that say they've been married for a hundred years and have never fought. One has to be dead or so overpowered with submission they can't see daylight.
No two people will ever have the same exact same answer to a problem and differences are good, it creates creativity.
You have to know when to quit, give in, agree. To call each other names, this isn't a relationship. To be disrespectful is a disgrace. I don't condone it.

its called venting.. and if u dont vent u bottle it up till one day it explodes and ur marriage is over because u harbored all those feelings..

Most of the time when people vent its not that they are trying to disrespect people, its more that they are just frusterated in that moment and need to release it.. and anyone with an open ear they'll tell.. usually those that do this, have poor communications in their marriage to begin with and they feel they cant talk to their spouse ..

When I worked customer service I only heard something like that with one customer and it was, No, I divorced her. It was a steady thing between the two of us that we said every morning.
Mostly its a joke. You just gotta laugh and let them worry about their own problems.

You never really know a person until you live with them. Then you find out all their quirks/habits and how they can really get on your nerves.
