I MIGHT get a new hamster and I was just wondering if I could use the same pine and everything in the cage as it is now with a new hamster?

I would wash everything in the cage and wash the cage with hot water with a mild detergent and rinse it thoroughly and add new bedding before i put a new hamster in the cage. Hamsters are alot of the time very territorial and may become defensive if they smell another rodent and may bite or become afraid.

wash the cage throughly and everything will be fine. if it is an unopen bag of pine then yes you can use it if not then no you need to go get new pine. I have this stuff call Carefresh pet bedding for my rats and i think it is healthier for pets b/c there is no pine or cedar oil in it and no pine/cedar dust which gives pets resportory problems.

NO. Wash the cage and everything in it with warm soapy water. Throw the bedding away and replace with new fresh bedding. Your suppose to change the bedding reqently.
