Answers should come from Men as they are the ones experiencing. But please put aside the Religious, cleanliness or estetic factors. They have nothing to do with more sensation or not. This is a debate going on for YEARS! We should hear the ones that know the difference !

There is a very real risk of loss of sensitivity as this study shows.

OBJECTIVES: Currently no consensus exists about the role of the foreskin or the effect circumcision has on penile sensitivity and overall sexual satisfaction. Our study assesses the effect of circumcision on sexually active men and the relative impact this may have on informed consent prior to surgery.
Penile sensation improved after circumcision in 38% (p = 0.01) but got worse in 18%, with the remainder having no change. Overall satisfaction was 61%.
CONCLUSIONS: Penile sensitivity had variable outcomes after circumcision. The poor outcome of circumcision considered by overall satisfaction rates suggests that when we circumcise men, these outcome data should be discussed during the informed consent process. 2005 S. Karger AG, Basel

I would recomend getting a second opinion before having this done, it is very rare to actually need to have the foreskin amputated. Competent doctors can treat an intact penis without cutting. One out of five men circumcised suffers loss of sensitivity and one out of three is not satisfied with the results, these are not very good odds. There has to be better treatments available.

I would point out that while this study shows that adult men should be warned of the possibility of sensitivity loss before they can give "informed consent" to circumcision, there is no way that a newborn boy can give his informed consent to an elective procedure that has a 1 in 3 chance of leaving him with an impaired sex-life.

The same damage is done to the penis of a newborn but alot of the problems won't show up until years later when the man becomes sexually active.

His body. His choice.

Personal experience: I was having a problem with delayed orgasm, frequently to an hour and sometimes not at all (she would ask me to stop) untill I came up with a protective sheath for my glans which I wear constantly, except for shower and sex. After about a month my sensitivity improved to the point I can orgasm in 10 to 20 minutes. She is much happier too and doesn't put me off so much.

Because of this experiment, I KNOW THAT CIRCUMCISION DESTROYS SENSITIVITY. To me this proves that they lie when they say it doesn't. The small amount of sensitivity I have regained has been a miracle, now it leaves me wondering just how much I am missing with more than half of the sensory nerves of my penis cut off with my foreskin. I wish to God I could have my penis whole again.

A loosely circumcised penis refers to one in which the shaft skin is still fairly mobile. While enough foreskin is removed to have the head completely uncovered at all times, enough skin remains that it can be moved up and down the shaft to an extent. There are varying degrees of looseness. Sometimes, it’s just enough to still glide along the shaft a bit, with the skin having only a little bit of “give” to it. For others, the skin can be pulled over the head a bit. In others still, it can move all the way over the head, and even past it. Essentially, a loose circumcision is the least destructive form of it. The gliding action of the foreskin is one of its main functions, and a major reason why sex tends to be much more satisfying for both partners when a foreskin is present. Circumcised penises that retain some of this gliding action are fortunate. A tightly circumcised penis, on the other hand, refers to one in which shaft skin is completely (or almost completely) immobile. This is the result of a larger amount of skin being removed: in some cases, not just the foreskin, but some shaft skin too. Tight circumcisions remove an integral function of the intact penis (the aforementioned gliding action), and this, of course, does not come without consequences. Those who are tightly circumcised often must use lubricant when masturbating (or being masturbated by a partner), as the friction without lube may be too uncomfortable, or even painful. Vaginal sex is impacted, too, for both partners. The gliding action a penis is supposed to have helps keep vaginal lubrication in, and a tightly circumcised penis may draw it out too much, causing discomfort for both participants. Even when lubrication is adequate, some women report that a tightly circumcised penis feels rather “blunt” inside her, compared to the massage of a rolling foreskin.

I can't say from personal experience what it's like to be circumcised, and I don't want to find out! (I also don't have to jump off the Brooklyn Bridge to know I wouldn't like the consequences.) But I do know enough men trying to restore their foreskins, which is a long and tedious process which nobody would enter into capriciously, to firmly believe that the foreskin is an important body part which no male should be deprived of. I also believe that our bodies are perfect as we are designed and that tinkering with that design is risky.

The men who say that sex is better after being cut seem to fall into two groups. One group is those who were cut because of a serious problem which interfered with their sexual function. Of course they will feel better after the problem is fixed, although most never looked into alternatives which would have fixed the problem and retained the foreskin.

The second group is the big egos who think everything they do should be emulated by everyone else in the world. Got a problem with bad breath? They'll tell you to get circumcised! I think many of them actually know they made a big mistake but are too self-centered to ever admit that they erred.

When I was a kid I saw one of my young, intact friends masturbate. He could stroke the entire length of his penis using the gliding action of his foreskin. It acted like lube that never dried out. Of course he could have used lube too. I am luckier than most circumcised men and have a little loose skin, enough to almost get it over the rim of the glens when erect. I don't like lube as the sensations dull with it after a while and I get nothing out of dry stroking without using the skin. I felt that I had been deprived of a useful part of my sexual organs and still believe that to be true. My choices were never considered and I resent that deeply. Now getting older I have very dull sensations in my penis and believe that circumcision may have made this worse.
In porn you see guys enter with the foreskin forward using that gliding action and some women report that sex is smoother and gentler with an intact partner. Some men report loss of sensation after adult circumcision while others love the result.
This is not something that can be easily measured. Adult males get circumcised for all sorts of reasons and some men have a great desire to be cut, often based on appearence rather than function. It's impossible to treat most of them as impartial.
Taylor did examine the foreskins of cadavas histologically and discovered concentrations of nerve receptors in a structure he called the ridged band. This is pretty good proof that the 15 square inches of foreskin surface removed in an adult circumcision does contribute to sexual sensation in an intact male.

the main people that lose sexual pleasure from male circumcision are women.men lose the protection of the foreskin and gliding action and it causes a form of brain damage and mental problems my personal belief is that no baby should be circumcised.men and women should grow up and decide for themselves if they are circumcised or not.read these studies.
