It's a 15-20 minute walk from the City Centre. After walking up along the Cowcaddens junction and over the bridge at St George's Cross, head down Great Western Road until you get to the Botanic Gardens on the right hand side. Then, turn left down Byers Road. After a while, you'll see University Avenue leading off to the left. You'll know when you're there - there's a 10 storey concrete monolith there.

Buses run often and there's a lot of services. a First Bus unlimited off-peak day ticket costs £2.55. You can also get the SPT Subway (both St Enoch and Buchanan Street are in the city centre). The nearest Subway station to the Uni is Hillhead. A single on the subway is £1 no matter how far you're travelling, and after £9.30 it's £1.90 for an all-day unlimited subway ticket. Return tickets are £2.

If you're travelling on the Subway to Hillhead, walk out of the station and turn left. At the traffic lights, turn left and go up University Avenue.

When I lived in Glasgow it took me about 20 minutes - the most time consuming element was getting from one side of Charing Cross to the other.

There are frequent bus services and the nearest subway station is Hillhead
