A man and woman had been married for more than 60yrs.They shared everything, talked about everything and kept no secrets other than an old shoe box that the little old woman asked her husband never to open or ask about. For many years he thought he would never open the box but one day she got very sick and the doctor said she wouldn't recover.
In trying to sort out her affairs the little old man took down the shoe box and took it to his wifes bedside. She agreed that he should know what was in the box. When he opened it there were two crocheted dolls and £95,000.He asked about the contents."When we were to be married" she said,"my grandmother told me the secret of a happy marriage was to never argue. She told me that if I ever got angry with you,I should just keep quiet and crochet a doll."
The old man was so moved;he fought back tears.Only two precious dolls. She had been angry only twice in all those years.
"Honey" he said, "that explains the dolls, but what about all the money?"

the old man did all the housework cos the lady was too busy making dolls. that would be the only reason it's a recipe for a happy marriage.

Read between the lines!

my answer:probably is....for some marriage it does work however the reality is that we are just human and it's usually hard to keep anger to oneself.i guess i could still get some insight from this and that is try to be patient and more understanding to our spouse.doing so may lead to a lasting marriage.just like yours......thanks for sharing!!!!
