Super unleaded has a higher octane rating, which basically means it has more oomph. Theoretically your car could be slightly faster using it. If it runs fine on unleaded I wouldn't bother going with super. Keep the spare change.

Super unleaded has a higher octane rating - that is, it takes more effort to make it go "bang". This means that you can have higher compression in the engine. It also means that it is harder to ignite in a low compression engine. I have a low compression engine ('01 Ford Focus 2.0 16v), and it's actually slower on super unleaded. In a car like yours, I doubt it is required. You'll probably run better with out it - and save money at the same time!

Super unleaded contains additives that are meant to keep your engine running better, like us taking vitamins.
Your car is fine on normal unleaded but if you are feeling flush put some super unleaded in every now and then.

Stick with the normal unleaded. The only difference you'll notice with super unleaded is the cost.

For most cars oct will not make a big difference. octane rating is the only difference between unleaded and super unleaded. octane has to do with how well and when the fuel ignites. if the fuels ignites a fraction of a sec when it is not supposed to you get knocking or pinging. High oct will burn cleaner and with better timing. DO NOT think this is better for the environment because it takes so much more refining. High performance engines, like race cars and motorcycles need higher octane to run at their best. Your car's preformance may not be affected.

Your car is designed for, and will run fine on, ordinary unleaded. Super unleaded will make no appreciable difference except to your pocket.
