Absolutely love Las Vegas. Must dos include a helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon, visit to the theatre in MGM Grand where they have fantastic shows, to Treasure Island where everyday they have a Pirate Fight and the ship sinks.
MGM Grand also have their own theme park there.
Sunbathe of course, it will be very hot in September and if you go one street back off the strip you will find some reasonable priced steak houses.
Best of all - go onto CSI Website and see if they are filming at the time - you may get to be an extra, a friend of mine is in a background shot.
Casinos open 24/7, lots of bars, clubs etc, you wil have a whale of a time!

Apart from the obvious - gambling Vegas also has some amazing shows. Go onto the strip near MGM Grand and look for a huge Coca Cola bottle (you really can't miss it) stand it cue and you can get some great reduced deals on the shows. If they still do it do the Star Trek experience at the Hilton, I know that sounds geeky but trust me it is amazing!
Oh and if you are gambling stay off slots, play blackjack or craps and join all the casino players clubs you can get coupons etc for reduced meals balh blah blah

Well, all of the hotels you have chosen are reasonably close to eachother and are at the south end of the strip, perhaps that is why you chose them. MGM Grand is one of my favorite hotels, I absolutely love that hotel. The rooms were amazing and comfortable, and most importantly (to me) the rooms didn't smell like smoke. The pool is amazing, the restaurants are great. I have never really seen any celebrities there except for Kurt Thomas and I assuming he was in Vegas because he was traded the day before :) It is the the last stop on the monorail on the south end and quickly connects you to the rest of the strip. New York New York has an amazing casino. I love everything about the ground floor. I have heard the rooms tend to be smaller at this hotel. Mandalay Bay is amazing. One of the Southern most strip hotels with mini monorail connecting to Luxor and Excalibur. The hotel in its entirety is amazing. Good pool. Luxor gives me vertigo, I will probably never stay there. But the clubs are good. LAX is popular for celebrity sitings. You may even see Carrot Top on any given day! : ) My pick: MGM grand!

Go the amusement areas in the major hotels, and stay away from gambling, unless you want to become a Prostitute. The MGM Grand has a grand arcade that will blow anything you might have seen recently. The stratosphere has a gravity drop ride that is worth checking out. Above all check out all the people that you see walk the street and at the night clubs. The clubs bring in all these wild people that are HUNGRY!!. Watch yourself.

i went to Vegas with a couple of girls last year...we had a blast! Check out the Coyote Ugly bar in New York, New York hotel and go and ride the roller coaster...very cool!
Also, you have got to go to the Bellagio and have an all-you-can-eat dinner...you pay a little more than most of the places are advertising - but it is a classy joint and the food is AMAZING!! We didnt eat for 30 hours after we visited it so be warned!!

I would recommend changing hotels. Circus Circus is full of kids. If you want to party i would change hotels. But Vegas is full of things to do. From gambling, drinking, clubs, tours, shows, and etc.

My favorite thing was the pools, we stayed at MGM and the pools (they have several) were gorgeous. In May it was in the 90s at 8AM. Also go from hotel to hotel, checking them all out. They're all different, all amazing. There's tons of things to do in Vegas, take a look at vegas.com and cheapovegas.com for info on free shows, bars, restaurants, shops, etc.

Go to Margaritaville and make sure to watch the water show right in front of the Belagio. The Voodoo lounge if fun too, it's located in The Rio hotel.
Have fun :)

I enjoyed going to the different clubs, sight seeing at all the different hotels. You should try the wax museum at the Venetian and the aquarium at Mandalay Bay. There are plenty of things to get into in a city that never sleeps!

I can't tell you because what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. j/k. You can gamble, take in some shows (there should be some decent music or comedy acts, and probably a professional martial arts fight).
