The sun is a dwarf star, for now. It has a life cycle. When the Hydrogen runs low, it will evolve to a red giant, which of course the planets are history by this time. Then, to red supergiant, and possibly explode into a supernova, or pulsar. Eventually the black hole may be inevitable. Don't worry, you'll be long dead before this happens. For the religious people...Christ will ride on his white horse and etc....

Think about your end, it is sure, but the end of this world is not sure. Human due to their foolishness will make war, terrorism and nuclear war and soon finish themselves. I can predict this with a lot of certainity. It will be the end of humans. But the world will still go on. There will be apes and monkey who will slowly evolve in billion years to again become humans. Hope they don't finish the way we did.
