Really interested. I live in the Dallas area. I know they're coming to SXSW but I'd like any info outside of that. Also, any recent photos? I'd like to know how they've changed since they signed to Capitol. Any recent interviews I should look up?

In a March 2006 interview with Pitchfork Media, drummer Sam Fogarino said that the process of writing the follow-up to Antics is "moving right along where I think it should...we're all pretty much on fire about it". An update on the official Interpol website in July confirmed that the band were taking some time off, but have begun writing their third album. A recent update on the website states that the band is currently recording their third studio album in a New York City studio. After Antics, Interpol's contract with Matador Records expired and Billboard has confirmed that Interpol has inked a major label deal with Capitol Records. The album is expected to be released sometime in 2007.
