Presidents are human beings and as such are prone to all the frailties common to the species. Philandering is not exclusively
American. Mitterand did it, Berlusconi, Papandreou and a host others. Most Presidents are a mixed bag, some good things and inevitably some mistakes. LBJ as an example started the Great Society program which benefitted the poor and the weak and his civil rights programs were good. Now he failed in the Viet Nam war, but having some conscience he decided not to run again.
When it comes to GWB I cannot find anything he has done well. So he is one of the few exceptions of the Presidency who have wholly failed. And by the way I am not a Democrat.

Actually, Kennedy started Vietnam. Not to mention a plethora of other things he did wrong. Hense that fateful November day...
Actually, George Bush is doing a fine job, he was left with a horrid mess to clean up. The economy was failing miserably when he got into office. It had a lot to do with the 8 years prior going so badly! Clinton was without a doubt as bad if not worse than Jimmy Carter.
Reagen, did a wonderful job, bring America back to the place it belongs in the world.. George Bush, took over and did a wonderful job, keeping things going smoothly...
LBJ... well, foodstamps.. and other social programs with the only function to rape the economy... need I say more

They were all good men, youre just looking at the situation without looking at the circumstances. Everything we do in live has a specific set of circumstances and youre basically saying that because they were elected president youre not interested in ever hearing them. To not listen to the details and act like you dont know is the actions of a fool. Dont be surprised when people catch on and start taking advantage of you.

Ronald Reagan was the best in my life time. Think about it, As he walked down Penn. Ave the hostages were released, double digit inflation was brought under control, The Berlin Wall came tumbling down and the economy took off. Ronnie we hardly knew you. I miss that man.

Well, you criticize Reagan for his acting. So I guess his Presidency goes unchallenged. In my opinion he was the best President.
