To take a screenshot of exactly how you see the screen, press the 'print screen' button on the keyboard. Then open up mspaint (start menu->accessories->paint) and use the paste function (ctrl+v). If you want to get a shot of only a window, activate the window, press alt+printscreen and paste it into paint.

One easy way is to press the Print Screen key on your keyboard, then open the Paint Program from the Programs-- Accessories Menu, Select Edit from the Paint program and select Paste. It may ask if you want to expand the selection.. select yes. It may just paste the desktop picture without prompting. You can then save that desktop picture as any kind of graphic file.

There is a key on your keyboard, top right of it normally. It will say Print Screen, or something like that. (Prt Scrn) etc. Press that on the page u want to copy, then go to paint, press paste, then save the picture, then you have your screenshot.

Press print screen button on your keybord . Then click start go to programs then go to accessories and click on paint . Then click edit on toolbar then click paste you will see the whole picture of your desktop . Or you can use some specific programs to catch a shot of your desktop but there is no need to install unimportant softwares on your harddrive.
