Okay, i am in a relationship with a guy i think is pretty amazing.... WHEN i'm not thinking about his past :(

We have been together now nearly two years and he has never done anything to hurt me he's sweet and loving and just an all round beautiful guy... But I know in his past he was the opposite, he slept around, did some recreational drugs and was one of those people i have no time for. I was a sheltered little 18 year old never had a boyfriend, never been to a pub let alone a club, and never touched any drugs.

I do believe people can change but find it hard to understand HOW..

Can a relationship work when one person has been with 30 people and the other none?

I love this guy to pieces and he loves me, i just need some assurance i'll deal with this better maybe as i mature?

I'm 20 he is 26...

Please help!! :(

i know it can work , bec i was like your boyfreind and i met the girl of my dreams i really did change for her so if he is willing to change for you then you should be mercifull and just forget about his past.

So you are not virgin now. That is not to important . Because you can not turn back time . So you should not worry about it.
One of the hardest thing in life is to change other people .It is better to change yourself and adopt the conditions .
You can find a better boyfriend who will behave you better and has a better personality and past.
The decision is yours . If you are obsessed with him and continue this condition there is nothing to do with you . If you want to change something take action . Say him that you want him to change and if he does not you will leave him .

Maybe u are lucky to have met somebody who has hanged ma dear. And if it is really like that u dont have to concentrate on his past but rather on your present as a couple and what u want for both of u. Give it your best my dear and give him the benefit of the doubt but talk to him and tell him your fears so that he works with you to allay them.

All the best

Yes people can change - 2 years and you still question this?! If you keep honesty in the relationship - you can be together forever.

I hope you can see through his past. That guy might as well be me, I've done the same thing as he has...but I think I've changed...I hope whomever I end up with now can accept me for the person I am now and not who I was.

i think the only way you can make a relasionship work is to work for it to work
what im just trying to say is that if you love him you have too compromise dont blame him abt his past just try to help him change for the better if you keep thinking about the past your relasionship will fail

I'd say if he's been a good boy for two years now, he may have actually turned over a new leaf.

If you are questioning your relationship so much it's time to get out of it.
