i have tried many graphs but i cant find anyhting in books and i need to hand it in soon.

Not sure what you mean.

A scatter graph may do the job if your "two different things" are in paired data.

not sure if this is what you mean but if you want to plot the difference between two sets of data then there are two common methods

plotting a residual graph, ie. ploting (data set 1 - data set 2)

or

plotting a parity graph where you plot data set 1 vs data set 2 which would give a straight line (y=x) if they were identical.
