At the cremation place, they record the body sent for cremation by either electric or by wood. In any case this record is sent to the Municipal office.If you have any kind of proof, then go the Municipal office and fill a form. They will verify and then issue a death certificate. In case you don't have the papers from the cremation place, the municipal office may ask you to furnish evidence of the place of the death. There may be an enquiry and then may be you will have to submit an affidavit. They will issue the death certificate, once they have completed the formality.
