Yes. Not only does empowering the youth teach them responsibility but it also gives them say over the world they will be inheriting. As we trust our youth less and less they are becoming less trustful and we are seeing that kids are being kids longer. However, it is important with youth empowerment that you just don't hand the keys over, you have to guide and mentor them. Give them responsibilities but also give them direction.

in 3rd world countries it's a must! current 3rd world leaders are ignorant about problems people on the ground are facing and basically they've run out of ideas when it comes to move forward with development....and they don't have the energy!
