Get a bag of ordinary Washing Soda, Asda/Tesco 55pence. Put in machine, hot wash, sweet.Just look at the bubbles from excess washing powder as you do this...and you thought your clothes were rinsed?????/
The smell you have is rancid grease from washing powder. I do this every 2 months, keeps the drains clean as well.

You have got an electrical problem in that machine. The smell is probably due to electrical wiring or a motor burning out. Do not use the machine until a qualified tradesman has examined it thoroughly.

Try cleaning out the filter,it could be stale water that escapes into the machine from over filling the detergent drawer.

it could be the rubber perishing, or as someone said, a blocked drain hose, check the door seal to see. the eggy smell is caused by bacteria

one of the pipes on the washer is probably blocked therefore building up stale water. drain, turn of water supply, lets taps run empty, then undo pipes on machine and rinse or unblock with a stick of some sort.
