The way we position our hands and feet when we sleep is usually the way we positioned them in the womb as space started to get cramped.

We will place our hands between thighs because we need some body temperature maintained steadily for our survival. Usually nights are cool...so for comfort and heat we will keep our hands in between our thighs

This is not totally true different people have different habits. All of us have some or few most comfortable position , and we find them and stay in that position. most change the position from time to time.

when u sleep u are much of a baby.... so u need warmth of someone , he/she can be ur partner mother siblings etc. but when we are alone our body automatically reacts and we feel cozyby palcing are hands between thighs
