My wife and I were 26 years old when our elder's daughter was born, and we came to know that she was disabled. Now she is 24 years old and our love for her have only increased. Love and care keeps her joyfull every moment, although she cannot speak, her actions and smile says it all !!!.

You are truly a blessing to your child!!

I don't have children, however I do have a Down's Syndrome sister and I love and care for her as much as I do for my other "normal" siblings. She is such a unique person! By the way, is there such thing as 'normal' anymore?? LOL
Stephanie has outlived her life expectancy by almost 10 years, mostly in part by the inspiring care and love my parents have shown her.
