I am 36, and i get so fed up sometimes when people mistake me for yonger, i have had to put up with this forever...i have my mother's genes when she was in her 70's she glowed and looked so radiant she looked more like late 50's....but i just wondered if anyone else who experiences this, not to mention getting carded when out i mean it's a good thing i don't drink or smoke anyways, but how do you deal with this?....i don't carry id all the time why should i?

You should be happy! Enjoy it while you can! I get mistaken for way younger at times too, even younger than my youngest sister and it gets annoying at times but hey if its a toss up between looking too old against too young, I would opt for the latter.

And this is a problem how? Just carry your ID with you, which you should anyway. If you get stopped by the police for anything, or questioned on the street, and you don't have ID they'll actually put you through the system (send you to the police station, etc.) no matter what. More than one cop has told me this. So just carry that ID and avoid all problems. Remember, in some countries no ID or official papers means beatings, extortion, jail time and maybe even death.
So you look young. Good for you! I'm a 31 year old man and most people think that I'm under 25 (good genes from mom and dad). I don't let it get to me, I just take it as a compliment. So just carry your ID and be VERY HAPPY that you look much younger than your age. We could have worse problems, you know.

I'm 39 and I still get carded. I guess some days I just don't look my age. Like you, I have some good genes. My Father's 69 and still looks like a tough ole' bull. I take it as a compliment when people insist on carding me. It's as though they're saying, "Quit fooling man, you're not that old!" lol. It's nice. Unlike you though, I always have some form of I.D. on me. I drive, so why wouldn't I?

U are lucky, the benefits of looking young are more, the problems are minor and not of consequence.
