No, no side effects. It is worth getting it done. Exfoliate a few days afterwards and every few days after that in order to prevent any in grown hairs that may occur. Some people are more prone to developing ingrown hairs than others. You should not have side effects but if you seem to be getting some then you need to talk to the beautician as you may be allergic to the wax or something like that.

It's when ALL you pubic hair is removed...including the ones in your anal area! I had it done for my birthday a few years ago and its EYEWATERINGLY PAINFUL!!!
