I think it's more about the moment than the place, like the contented feeling of being on a beach in a beautiful country, on holiday or visiting a place you always wanted to see. I work in Hospitals and they are are very happy a lovely places to be sometimes because all that is best about being human comes out in them. Equally a cemetry can be a nice place when you go to visit someone you loved very much, I love going to preen my Nana's grave, talk to her and tell her how much I love her still. I have also been to some beautiful places which you would think should spell happiness and have felt low because the place is souless or the people there are unkind. Happiness is about more than than the cosmetics of a place.

I work in a horpital,and it sure ain't a sad place.
The happiest place I went to was Goodison Park 1979 FA Cup semi-final replay. United beat Liverpool 1-0. What a great atmosphere. It was a carnival all the way down The East Lancs Road.

The happiest place is in your imagination. There is no place on earth that is nicer than you can imagine it to be. Some people refer to a pleasant thought as their happy place. Give it a try sometime and you will see that I am right. If you have ever seen a beautiful picture of a place and then went to that place afterward you know I am right. There are no mosquitoes in the picture or in your imagination.

Down in Cornwall near Tintagel is St Nectans Glen. You reach it by taking the Tintagel Rd from Boscastle and look for the sign. Park the car and follow the country lane that leads down to a woodland. Follow the path over little wooden bridges until you reach the keepers house.
For a small fee they will open the gate and you go down into the valley where there is a waterfall that flows through a hole in a rock.
It is the happiest and most spritual place I have ever been to. I go every year and the experience is wonderful.

I think cemetery's are really peaceful. I do not think any place is sad or happy as it stands. I think happiness is a state of mind, and this depends on situation and well being, for example babies are born in hospital and that is a very happy occasion usually.

Close your eyes and ask yourself that same question. Keep meditating on it until an image enters your mind. Enjoy the image, explore it and then you can go back to it anytime you need to find a happy place again.

Happiness is nowhere
I mean now here.
Its a state of mind, not a place. Its always here but we dont always see/feel it. We do sometimes and associate the place with the state.
