The word 'Multinational companies' is clear by itself. It is formed by combining two words ,i.e., multi+national which means that companies which have their operations spread in more than one nation or multiple nations. The country or nation to which these are based are known as there homelands. Like Videocon is an Indian MNC or multinational company. It has its head office in India but is operating in other nations also. Usually these countries move from there homelands to other countries in order to spread their business operations.
