Is it possible to record a video of an out of body experience with an infrared camera?

Perhaps when people die, have it recorded by infrared cameras and see what it picks up.

I think it is possible, but I don't think you need an infra read camera. A regular camera can capture this if you can capture the exact moment the spirit leaves the body.

Interesting question. I guess if anyone did do this - and caught it on camera - it would prove that the OBE's are physical (and able to carry temperature) and not just 'mind-soul' related OR involving another 'plane' / world - as many people think so. I think it would also raise a lot of other questions, and bring on a scientific investigation. Would it prove that souls have a physical-'after'-body? Or would it prove that there are more to 'ghosts' than it seems?

I don't know many people who'll volunteer to allow a recording of someone's death - but the idea is something that would be interesting to see on camera. After all - anything is possible, and science is always learning new things. I don't think hospitals are planning to freak out by installing new infrared-cameras though.

No you can't , because first the infrared camera senses heat emanating from an object , unfortunately the spirit has no source of heat emission , you could equated to a puff of fog and could be seen with the naked aye if this puff or spirit was some how denser . There are many sightings of ( ghosts ) spirits that are in state of trauma and inhabit certain specific houses or places through-out the world , but this effect can be seen or experienced way after the death of the body that belonged too . I believe this ghosts can be seen momentarily in specific places ,because are spirits in state of trauma . the trauma is so strong before death that the spirit does not want to move on as is supposed to ,but is holding on in hope to resolve the trauma that experienced before death , so the spirit lingers in the area of the suffered trauma, also is the possibility that the body the spirit inhabited terminated prematurely , in a sense was not suppose to die yet It had a longer life ,but no body to inhabit , so stays around till it's determined date of life or yet doesn't know when to live because there is no body to live from , and they can be friendly or vicious , depending of the intensity of the trauma .

As far as I've heard, no, but I wonder if Kirlian technology could be created for a video as opposed to still shots. It'd be pretty neat to see it filmed. Those who are able to observe auras have witnessed some beautiful occurrences as a person dies and leaves the body one last time.
Along this same line of thought, wouldn't it be neat if something were invented to record our dreams? We should get busy and invent these things :-)

I guess if you can tape ghosts or other aura based dimensional 'creatures' with an inferred camera it is possable. However people have done other things to try and prove OOBE's, such as hiding a paper that has a word on it above the body and having the OOBE-ie tell them whats written on the paper if he/she left their body and saw it and no one has been able to do this. It would be really interesting to see a video though if its real/possable.

No not really possible, the spirit of a human body is invisible to the eye, unless this spirit is a ghost trapped on Earth for personal reasons. And the ghost is wanting to be seen.

you probably can't because someone at the Monroe Institute would have already caught that on camera. they are the pioneers on the modern investigation into the phenomanon of the OBE experience.

Well, anything is possible, but as there is not a single solitary irrefutable photo, film, video, etc of any paranormal event or entity, I would say no.
