my colleague refuses to do any work and spends all the time in browsing the internet from 9am to 6pm. my boss is also least bothered about it and does not ask him anything at all!!!. ultimately entire job falls on my head.!!! how to tackle this?

That is a very difficult question. I would have a long chat to your boss, and make him see that this cannot continue. It is very unfair and if nothing is done about it, I would either go over the boss's head, or resign.

slow down your production rate and when the work builds up if your boss says anything suggest a meeting with his superior say"I would like to have a sit down with you and your boss so we can figure out exactly what is going on here" I guarantee you your co worker will be spending less time screwing off after that.not to mention your boss will probably start to kiss your as$.

My biggest problem with other people who stick there nose where it does not belong. Is it your job to look over him in the first place? You should have enough things going on in your life to keep you busy, so unless your his boss then stay out of other people stuff, him boss will get tired of his crap and he will lose his job in the end.

Shut down the office internet inconspiciously. Tee, Hee. Then what? Guess that individual has to do work. Too easy. I f they are not familiar with how the internet works shut it off outside and just watch.
Mechanics are funny that way. Knowledge has its pluses.

You don't know how to play dirty tricks? Take this advice from me, I know it sounds rude, but you have to defend yourself and I have to help you. What is wrong with defending honest hardworking people? My advice is : tell everyone that person is surfing porn sites, such as penthouse site. You know what I mean. After you do this, no matter others believe you or not, that person will never log on to the net anymore.
