SHREK hands down - at least Shrek isn't as shallow with it's characters as Monsters Inc was. The characters in Shrek (while not well defined - they are just cartoons) have more depth of feeling than MI ever did.

I love SHREK - I think the Shrek films are the most funny, ingenuous and great to watch films that I've seen ever!! I must have watched them over 100 times with my son (he's 4) and I think I still enjoy them as much as he does!!!
Please where's Shrek 3!????????!!
Monsters inc. is pretty good, but no comparison!

Oh Shrek, absolutely. Monsters Inc was ok but Shrek is the king of all animated films ever.

shrek. i love both movies, but i choose shrek as it's not just aimed at kids, there are jokes in there for adults too. monsters inc is really good, and i enjoyed watching it with my little son, but i do think it was made more with children in mind.

Shrek. Monsters Inc good, but boring after several watches. Shrek good every time & we love Puss in Boots in Shrek 2.
