Personally I say the 2000 Kaw ZX-12r. You show me a bike at the dealer that you can put a power commander on and a muzzy full titanium race exhaust on and go 212 mph. Myth? NO! I did it on mine. The hayabusa has more low end torque but it is still behind the zx 12, zx 14, gsxr 1000, zx 10, and the r 1. So don't take what the busa boy are givin. KAW BOY for LIFE!!!!!!!!!! ( hint: look for the only bike that has 220 mph on the stock guages!)

Road legal or custom? If you're after an Australian ADR compliant machine, for an answer, that is available for purchase then it would have to be one of the Chevrolet V8 types available.
The Boss Hoss 8.2 litre BHC-3 502 Mountain cruiser boasts 502hp and 567Nm torque.
A somewhat similar (but lesser contender) may be the BARBARIAN V8 Motorcycle with a 5.7 litre Chevrolet V8 which claims 330 horses at 5000 and 400ft/lb of torque.
That help?

I don't know if it's the most powerful bike. But I know one of the fastest street legal motorcycles you can buy is a Kawasaki Ninja ZX14. but they claim it's the most powerful production bike. It does 0-60 in 2 seconds..and is priced about 11,500-12,000.

I dont know the name of it, but there is a motorcycle with a viper engine in it. Of course, they modified it so i can sit sideways. I dont actually know if this would qualify as a motorcycle because it has four wheels, just really close to each other. They dont know how fast it can go because the guy test driving it almost flew off at 200 mph so...yeah
