My wife and I share the housework on a Sunday and I often buy her flowers. But isn't it more thoughtful to do all the housework so she doesn't have to do any that week? I think it shows more effort on y part as you get flowers quite easily from the local store. And yes she knows they often come from Morrisons so don't worry.

Easy lol having all the housework done for the week. Yes i totally agree with you here the housework being done is much more thoughtful as it takes much more effort and time and love is spelled time. I like flowers but they die and fade away. But love and doing things for me lasts much longer then any flower does. I love this question by the way:)

Cripes! What a thoughtful thing. Most blokes don't realise that if they helped with the housework, it would free us up for more 'fun' events. I love it when the house is tidy and I can finally sit down and 'relax'. I would love more play time with my bloke but are often caught between having a nice nest and tiredness. I work full time too and it's an hour and half drive each way every day so I am out of the house for ten-eleven hours a day. To have someone say that they would do my housework for a week would just about have me explode in a cataclysmic ball of gratitude! I think you are a darling.

Sorry to say it - but it would have to be both. As lovely as it would be for you to do all the housework, she is a woman and her mind would work over time as to why she hasn't had the flowers if she usually gets them. Yes she woudl be chuffed about the housework, but why not do that as an addedd extra? Maybe you will end up with your own bonus in the end anyway!!!!

I would much rather the flowers. If your wife is anything like me she would go over any housework that someone else did because no-one can clean to her standards. So definitely, Flowers and loads of them!

haha, having housework done is better in my opinion! (although I have to say, it should really be a shared task. Unless of course you don't work or something like that)

I'm sure she will definitely appreciate your effort. A week with out housework is a blessing. lol.

Housework, ab-so-lu-te-ly! I would kiss my bf feet ( sort to speak) if he would take responsibility for ALL the housework. That includes scrubbing loo and floors, cleaning windows, doing the dishes, cooking, vacuuming, cleaning out kitty litter ... It would be like a week long holiday! (not that he doesnt do anything, but I would not mind to give away my share).
