at the age of 16 i saw a white shadow(around 8 in the evening) in mid high-way when we were coming back from Bristol to surrey.
the next day i lost my best friend(mark).
he was not with me in the car.
on his funeral i saw the same shadow (the shadow of a women).
now i m 23 living in different country but the memory is still fresh and hunts me .
mark died with an heart attack, though he was fit and very healthy, always on top in sports.

any advice will be good!

there are people who can predict and feel beforehand, when something important/bad is going to happen. there is nothing of magic or from hollywood horror films, it's just ability of their nerve system. it;'s scientific fact.
there is also scientific fact, that men, even young and helathy often dye of heart atacks, while young women do not suffer heart deseases untill they are able to give birth.

perhaps u belong to the first group of persosn who r able to "predict".
and ubnfortunately ur friend mark belonghed to the second group - young men suffering health deseases.

so i think, the shadow u so on the highway might be just piece of fog or something, but perhaps u were already feeling that something bad might happen, u attached additoinal mening to this vision and then during the funeral it was also trick of ur nerves perhaps.

anyway even if it really was there(who knows after all), it was rather sign, then reason of what has happened.

anyway now u should calmdown and not torture urself with ur past. perhaps death of mark was a big shock, but u have the whole life in front of u. live it. don't be obssesed with "ghosts" - either magic creatures or just ghosts of past losses.

good luck!

The mind is amazing and it is also true that humans have more than five senses. We have the capacity to create, for good and for bad. Your mind linked a strange phenomenon (the shadow) with an event (Marks' death). It was perfectly understandable that you did this - but realise that it was an illusion that you created not anything sinister. Every day the tricks of light (etc.) make us "see" things that aren't really there. But it is not sensible (although understandable) to try and make a causal link between a random visual phenomenon and a real event.

I know that this might sound crazy but talk with as many people about it as possible until you Barry this shadow of this woman forever.
Maybe the reason why you are holding on to this is because you
were young and confused and it was very shocking to see this shadow. Make a discussion that you do not want to live your life scared of a shadow. You want to be free.
Peace be with you.

I think the answer is in the question....The memory is still fresh and haunts you....a memory...that's all it is now..a memory

You will never forget it if you keep reminding yourself...try and think of it as a positive experience, you were special to see the woman...if you ever 'see' her again, then think about her but until then let her go....in peace...for both of you

mybe all of these observaion were created by your mind .
then the death is going to arrive by gods wanting . not just with a shadow . you must connect your mind with god and religious things more than before . if you are muslim you can say salavat and reading quran can help you 100%.

Mourning for your best friend is normal. I still mourn for my best friend many years later. She died when I was still a child and devastating childhood memories seem to lasts forever.

YOU NEED TO LOOK WITHIN - only you can give answers to such a question.

While this "sighting?" could have many meanings, the only meaning that is important is the one you think is true. Remember, of all things on this world, and all the worlds beyond, there is NOTHING more powerful....

than TRUTH

SOMETIMES IN MY DREAMS I SEE STRANGE THINGS RELATED WITH FRIENDS OF MINE OR RELATIVES AND A FEW DAYS LATER SOMETHING HAPPENS TO THE PERSON I SEE. FIRST TIME I SAW A DREAM LIKE THAT AND IT CAME TRUE I ASKED MY MOTHER IF SHOULD I CARE. SHE SAID THAT SOMETIMES SOMETHING UNKNOWN WANTS TO WARN ME NOT TO BE SCARED OF WHAT IS TO HAPPEN IN THE FUTURE. SHE ALSO SAID THAT MANY PEOPLE FACE SITUATIONS LIKE MINE EVERY DAY. IT IS NOT UNUSUAL. SOMETIMES YOU CAN BE REALLY WORRY ABOUT SB SO THAT YOU BELIEVE THEY WILL GET HURT AND WHEN THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENS YOU BLAME YOUR SELF. YOU SHOULDN'T..........
