I feel for him. We all find life difficult from time to time and I think the general population rib stars who go into rehab because we can't afford such a luxury and have to get on with it. Robbie may be a star, but he is, only human. As for the publicity surrounding it, I truly don't believe that stars request this. The press know where to hang around and usually target certain individuals as we all "love a good story". It is sad that as a nation we take delight in others misfortune and misery.
Good luck to Robbie on getting out of his black hole. Time to support those people who we build up and then take pleasure in trying to break. What goes around, comes around, so anyone reading this, have a nice day and have happy thoughts about those around you.

I'm a fan of Robbie, I have seen him in concert and he is brilliant and I wish him well. But, I do not understand why these celebs find it so difficult to cope with life. The stress of paying the bills, keeping your kids, living on a budget etc is not something they have to worry about unlike the majority of us. They have what they have worked for...success and all the riches that come with it. If they find it hard to cope then give the money away to a deserving charity and go back to being 'Joe Bloggs'?
However, I do not think the fame and fortune is the cause of their problems, I think these people would have issues no matter how poor, unfamous they were. If you are happy and stable money and fame won't change that it will only enhance your life.
Get on top of it Robbie and join the human race again as a well man.

I am really not bothered. I find the guy to be an attention seeker and to be honest it is probably a ploy to get more sympathy given Take That's recent success and given the fact that he probably won't win any awards at the Brits tonight.

The guy is a multi millionaire who craves public adoration and then spits his dummy out when he feels he is not getting enough. I have just returned from Rwanda where people are still suffering the effects of the 1994 genocide - thousands of women were victims of multiple sexual assualts; hundreds of thousands of people have no surviving family members as they had been systematically slaughtered and none of these people are seeking therapy.. they are just quietly trying to rebuild their shattered lives.

Robbie Williams needs to get over himself and go visit a country where there is real pain and suffering!!!!!

Glad to see he is addressing his problem but have a feeling he will not stay clean, then again Ozzy managed it after all those years of throwing every chemical know to give him a high down his throat, unfortunately it did have a lifetime effect but still he has now gone the other way completely, then the Stones all have gone clean Mick Jagger is now obsessive he will not shake you hand.

I wish Robbie good luck it is no easy.

I think if he's recognised a need to have Rehab then good for him for going for it. It's a shame the world of stardom often has addiction disease as a horrible side effect of working in the industries associated.

I guess that the US have lots of experience in dealing with this sort of problem, its full of inarticulate inadequates, even good old George W was treated in rehab. Mr Williams could also get his sexuality sorted out whilst in there. What ever it costs he can afford it.

I really could not give a damn. The man is old enough and ugly enough to know what he is doing. He just could never handle not being centre of attention. Seems fashionable between the rich and famous to put themselves into rehab when they need a bit of sympathy
Does he have a record coming out soon?
Bet you will all feel sorry for him and make it no. 1.
That prob why he in rehab.
Prescription drugs! Nothing to do with the others stuff he been on recently then!!!
