Drinking ice cold water while eating can solidify grease and oils.
From article in link below...
Whether to drink cold or hot water?
Water (and all liquids) should always be drunk at room temperature. If cold liquids are drunk, the body temperature drops. The heart responds by pumping faster and the whole
body is jolted.
If we drink cold water when we eat, the problem of oil and water not mixing well is aggravated. The cold solidifies the oils and turns them into grease. These oils in our stomach will be the same sludge as the oil that hardens after eggs are fried in shortening or oil. Then when the oils are burned in the liver, they leave ashes, just like the ashes in a fireplace. These ashes are tiny cholesterol crystals that deposit in our bloodstream and
clog our arteries.

One should not take cold water in any season. If summer, one should take sheetal water. During food, water is not bad but water should be avoided while having food/meal. Try to eat without water. Cold water is always bad.

Any form of water is not good during meals. Because, that reduces the strength and increases pH level of acidic solution in the stomach (mainly HCl), making it weak and less effective in digestion.

It's believed that cold drinks freezes and solidifies the fat in our food making it harder to burn into energy. The solidified fat settles at the walls of the arteries which increases the risk for heart diseases.

its actually an old wives tale about it solidifying grease and making it harder to digest. your stomach is full of acid that digests solid as well as liquid grease the same.
if you drink to much ice water to fast you may get cramps, you may not, totally individual
as far as diluting the stomach acid making digestion longer and slower, not true at all, the stomach would jsut excrete more acid and peptin to balance it out, then woudl absorb whats not needed.

The cold makes your stomach contract, which makes it very difficult to digest your food.
