THE BOY SEEMS TO HAVE IT ALL! Isn't that the true reason why some less fortunate individuals (enviness) try to insult one of THE BEST players in the world?

I see that this has become a spat between c ronaldo lovers and c ronaldo haters...
Cristiano Ronaldo for me is a brilliant footballer, the first game of football that I watched three years ago got me hooked because a young portuguese winger dazzled me. I was a chick that didn't like any sport, now I am a huge football fan. I started liking Manchester United at the beginning of their losing the EPL title streak.
Ronaldo has a finesse to him that makes the game change. The other day when Man Utd beat Charlton is was a tougher than usual match to play. Granted yes the boys were missing a few good players but if Ronnie was there he would have skipped by the defense and created more chances than what Man Utd had.
On the other hand for all non Man Utd fans and many English people there are sore feelings against "the winker" and yead I understand if that was to happen in a Man Utd game I would be furious. As far as world cup goes I personally didn't care for my home the US cause I knew they were doomed for the start and watched teams like England, Portugal, Brazil, etc..... However the taunting is just making him a better player. Now I will stop me typing cause I'm sure you will be bored of reading.

That's Fergie's habit. Always buy someone who seem play good at one time, especially ones who had played against Man Utd. Luckily Christiano Ronaldo is really talented, unlike his other choice like Djemba Djemba, Forlan, and many more.
And what about the reason behind signing Rooney? He's not there because he played well (I mean, he does play well, but that's not the main reason), but rather because Rooney scored great goals when playing against Arsenal.

If you want to know what it is about Christino Ronaldo, well he has got a lot of Talent, I can not see ANY Football Club saying NO to him, (only joking he is ours and not for sale) Anyway he seems to be getting better each Game, he does not hog the ball so much now, he has learnt there are 10 more Footballers on the pitch with him, which makes it better for everyone. Well that`s my OPINION.

Possibly the player of the year this season.

Football fans in England always love to hate the best teams/players. No idea why but that's life I guess.
Forget what he did in the World Cup look at his performances this season and what he has done for Man United.

He's ok. So he's Portugese and tries his best for his country.

Its no good blaming young Ronaldo for Rooney losing his temper at the WC. Rooney was isolated up front with the Portugese defence for long periods, with little support going forward... he was bound to snap.

Look elsewhere before blaming Ronaldo.

He's better than any other English player, including Rooney! If we had a player like that in England we'd lift him up to the sky, we have many average players but we seem to do that to all these pre-madonnas like Beckham, Lampard, Terry, Rooney who all play well in their own back yards but when it comes to the world stage..useless! Ronaldo dives but hes been the player of the season for me, sorry if you dont agree guys. I just tell the truth. Our England players are seriously overated!! Look at the way we performed in the World cup, we couldn even beat TRINIDAD!!!!

100 % AGREE WITH LOUISA! Stop resisting it!, you know deep inside even if you're not a Man U supporter or Portugal you are mesmerized by him one way or the other...some because of his talent, some because of his physicalness. He is a great player!

Amazing footballer who's getting better with every game. And to all those people who slag him, you'd have him in your team, no question - I think we might be able to find a space for him @ Bolton! Oh, and he's not as much of a diver as the likes of Robben, Drogba & co.
