Huh, a simple question can lead to a BIG discussion, eh? I think you better go to Kuala Lumpur, since you will be going to Beijing and Shanghai, HK, Beijing and Shanghai, the environment are mostly* the same. Singapore and Malaysia? There are not the same exactly. True, they have the same weather, culture, religion, races, etc., but there are some BIG gap between Singapore and Malaysia. Singapore is a modern city (country) where everything are expensive, also as mention before, 80% people in SG are Chinese along with other races in SG. Malaysia, is somewhere in between, half-modern, half-kampung (village). 57%* in Malaysia are Malay, 24%* are Chinese, 7%* Indian, etc.
