Start with a basic calculator course! You are too dangerous to run a PC! You DONT delete programs! You UNINSTALL them properly! If you havent dumped the recycle bin, open it and restore the files! If you keep deleting programs rather than to uninstall them, you will at some point be taking your PC into the shop to get it repaired!

You may want to give more specifications such as what your system is and how you deleted your Internet Explorer. Because, I don't think you really delete it. Deleting (uninstalling) Internet Explorer from your computer is not as easy as pressing the delete button on your keyboard. You may only delete the shortcut on your desktop and the real program is still on your computer.

Click the start button and see if it's still there. It should be right there. If not, click the program menu (inside the start menu) and see if it's still there. It should be there.

On older system, you may want to click the Accessories menu, inside the program menu, inside the start menu, to see if it's still there. It should be there.

If not, then you might really deleted it. Try to find it everywhere you can. If it's nowhere to be found then you DID delete it.

What do you do then?
1. Open "Control Panel". It's right there in the start menu or in the Settings menu inside the Start menu.

2. Find the "Add or Remove Programs" icon and double click it. It should open a new window.

3. Find the "Add/Remove Windows Components" button on the left side of that new window. Click that button. It should open a new window.

4. There is a list of windows component in that new window. Internet Explorer should be there with a checkbox beside it. Check that box and click next and follow the instructions. The system may ask for the original Windows CD that you used to install your system. It wouldn't hurt to prepare it.

Hope it helps.

Hi bluerosetq,

If you are running XP then you can use System Restore to return your machine to a previous state.

Before you do that,... Have you checked the recycle bin? Depends on how you deleted it I guess.

Go: Start > Help and Support > Undo Changes with System Restore.

If not using XP then hunt around for just about any utilities cd, it will probably contain a copy of IE 5 or 6

Good Luck, Rod

Go to your Control Panel, click "Add/Remove Programs". Then click "Add/Remove Windows Components". Make sure the Internet Explorer box is checked and then click Next and let it make the changes.

Hope that helps!
