Some people are lucky and have perfect features. You may not have been so lucky or had an accident. This does not mean you can not be popular.
First make sure you are clean and well groomed. Ask professionals for help with your hair and makeup (if you are a girl)
Second, Smile, and be freindly and talk to those that seem to be on the outskirts of the activity.
Third. I know a girl that has zero boobs and every man that meets her says she is the sexiest woman they have met.
Fourth. If you have just one good friend you are way ahead of most people.
Fifth. Get a good education so you can get a good job and be financially secure. Money is power.
By the way that "friend" that said you are ugly is no friend. I guess he can't see into your heart.

the truth is that anyone who would tell you that you are ugly, is at best unkind, at worst down right mean. I wouldn't be calling this person "Friend" anymore.
Beauty or lack of it, is only skin deep the real beauty is what's inside you. Don't you let anyone tell you that you are ugly!!!!

It's just his/her opinion, and maybe she just said it to hurt you. Well, don't let her! If a friend said that to me, I wouldn't consider her a friend anymore, cause everybody has something beautiful and friends should focus on that instead of saying hurtful and stupid stuff.

Friends do not say cruel things like that. She is probably jealous of you and is trying to lower your self esteem and boost hers up. She is no friend. Save yourself and end that relationship.
