I have 2:
I Want to Know What Love is - and I am not even a Foreigner fan, I just love it. I guess it reminds me of when I was teenager wondering what the hell love was anyways!?!
Cry Tough by Poison - It is my get up off your butt and get your life in gear song. My favorite part is "you gotta aim high baby weather you lose or win, cuz when you get to the top you gotta get up and go right back down again." It should be every working persons anthem. The song means if your dreams are going to come true you have to get out there and do something about it.

"Whats your favorite song? Why? What does it mean?"
An old song called "What Time Is It?" by the Jive Five. A married woman once cried on my shoulder while we slow danced at a party, because we were in love but could not have each other. I have not seen her in many years and will probably never see her again, but I will always think of her and remember our special moment whenever I hear that song.

I'm the kind of girl who can't appreciate a song until she can feel the message, understand it, and let it mean something to her as well. When I read this question, the first (and best) song that came to mind was Bayside's "How To Fix Everything."
The first time I had listened to it must have been during my Sophomore year--a dark spot in the midst of so many bright and promising things. It was during a time I was gasping for air and trying to cling onto something or anything. The singer's crisp voice depicted the same inner conflict I myself was feeling.
The exasperation in his voice as he asks the listener, "or is it too late to be anything but what I am?" leaves shivers up and down my spine every single time I listen to it. His admittance about defeat during the line "I deserve to hurt" rings true in my mind (and possibly any teenager going through a plethora of problems). His panic as he asks "how to fix everything" captured the same feelings I felt during the time I discovered the song, the band, and everything else in that culture (self-harm, "sensitive" artists, wandering hands and wandering tongues).

I like to listen to Christina Aguilera's Beautiful.I like this song because the message behind this song is that everyone isn't perfect but we're still beautiful in our own ways. That is what makes us different from others.Even though people may not like us sometimes,we're still beautiful in every single way and who cares about what they say.As the song goes,'and everywhere we go,the sun will always shine, and by tomorrow,we might wake up on the other side''.Now that is what makes a song so beautiful....

I haven't got just one. My Chemical Romance's Demolition Lovers helps me feel less hopeless, for some reason... Our Lady Of Sorrows by them is also beautiful, there's so much anger and defiance. Then AFI's stuff... there's lots. The Leaving Song is definitely my official "calming down" song, it's just beautiful, the lyrics, the music and Davey Havok's vocals, which I find soothing.
