This is a hard topic for me discuss without getting into a long discussion and tirade. So I'll make this short and sweet.

I'll start with some quotes and end with 2 videos (links). One is very long, the other *much* shorter.

• Quotes for thought

• Texas Guinan: "A politician is a fellow who will lay down your life for his country."

• Claude D. Pepper: "The mistake a lot of politicians make is in forgetting they've been appointed and thinking they've been anointed."

• Napoleon Bonaparte: "History is the version of past events that people have decided to agree upon."

• Plato: "One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors."

• Will Durant: "It may be true that you can't fool all the people all the time, but you can fool enough of them to rule a large country."

• Unknown: "A candidate is someone who gets money from the rich and votes from the poor to protect them from each other."

• Jeff Marder: "We live in an age when pizza gets to your home before the police."

• Soren Aabye Kierkegaard: People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid."

Certainly we would not have had the Patriot Act without 9/11--only people who were truly frightened would have signed away our Constitutional rights like that. We may or may not have had a Homeland Security department.

Thousands of people profited from 911, and 911 was designed to bring about Homeland Security & the relinquishioning of our rights We were and are being controled by many sources and in many different ways. Americans are about to be sheep ready for slaughter. Slaughter by the shepard that is !.

All of what you said leads me to believe that control is the biggest issue, how to control the citizens. 9/11 was the vehicle for everything, but I do think that Americans are catching on. The Novermeber elections shifted the power from those that wanted to control us to those that want America to be free and follow the constitution.

I am proud of you for having your own opinion. Does it get you off to tell everyone your views.......well, I for one, couldn't care less. Do you think you are going to ask more questions and then answer them within the question? Yes.

There seems to be a guy named magime here, huh? Umm...yeah...I guess I am jealous. Of what, I have no idea.
