For your personality, love would seem like a weakness, but that is something you are depriving yourself of on a constant basis everyday. Love is part of being human, and whether you had a rough childhood or yucky past romances doesn't mean that love is not a part of you now, only that you are not experienced at the moment to feel it as it should be.
Love is part of the human being and is meant to form relationships with other people, whether they are friends, family, or significant others in your life. When you shut yourself off to love is when you start to die emotionally, and even though I thought myself tough and would never cry again, I often do now since I have really fallen in love with my husband and I care about not only what he does, but how I affect him and the relationship that we have.
I really hope you can either reason things out yourself or find someone that can help you overcome your fear of trusting (without trust, you cannot love,) I really hope the best for you.

Every emotion can be termed as a weakness since it has the ability to blunt our logical thinking faculty.
Yes, love is a weakness for it can lead to logically incorrect actions... however, it has a tremendous power of motivation and in that context, it can be a major strength. Either way, it is something lovely and sublime, even as it may be a weakness at times and a strength at other times.

I think love is our strength in life
Love is the one thing that drives you
A country is at war because they want to protect the country they love the people who they love that lives in the country
Love is something so strong that nothing can breaks even when the other person is unfaithfully you will be hurt but you will still love

What an interesting introspection.
The key to love, like anything is balance and moderation. Just like in the Yin and Yang, every good has some bad and every bad has some good.
Those that love strongly, are apt to be naive and think the best in everyone. That is a weakness because they are blind to see when people take advantage of them and their kindess.
Those that love less, are apt to be hard and skeptical and miss love when it comes. They spend so much time thinking that there is no good in anyone, they miss their chance at love and life.
You have to learn to love through anything in any relationship, but you can't allow those people to take you for a ride.
Just my opinion anyway...great question though!

Love is a strength. Without love we`d destroy ourselves and the world, We wouldn't be human, we`d be like machines we`d kill each other without second thought, we wouldn`t be able to tell apart friend from enemy without love we`d have no purpose to live. Love makes us strong, makes us human. Love is what makes humanity so beautiful. Hating is unnatural only the unloved hate. In the first Harry Potter book Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone, Harry Potter`s mother Lily Potter (neé Evans) sacrifices herself to save Harry, because she loves him and if she hadn't Voldemort would still be alive in the books. Cybermen and Daleks in Doctor who they don`t love the only emotion they know is hate and their only purpose is to kill. In my opinion love is a strength, love makes us stronger, sure love can hurt sometimes but we learn from the pain, that pain makes us human, that pain makes us stronger. Love makes us brave.

Depends on your definition of love: if you're talking about infatuation, that giddy schoolkid type of crush feeling, yeah, that seems weak to me too because its an emotional wave that overtakes the person's good sense. And it's all about the self.
But someone who chooses to love someone, care for someone, treats it as an action as opposed to a feeling, that can be strength. You're giving of yourself for someone else's benefit and you do it as a choice. It may cost you something, but you're willing to suffer the consequences of that decision and gain the benefits as well.
Peace

Love is such an amazing and strange thing. It makes us strong and weak at the same time, wise and foolish. I'm in Love; I've never been this happy and I've never suffered this much.

Love demands an incredible amount of strength--for when we truly love we trust, and give of ourselves, and underneath it all accept the risk of suffering the most profound sort of worry and disappointment and hurt. True love isn't for sissies!

i don't think love is a weakness, i think some may feel weak because it allows them to open up which may make them vulnerable (exposed to being hurt) which most people fear is getting thier hearts hurt. but Love is unconditional and love is way beyond being weak! love is so strong, love is everything. without love.......
most regards
