Pauline Hanson is racist and always will be.
She is now choosing to ignore her ethnic heritage(s) with comments like "This girl is 100% Australian", and referring vaguely to "rape and pillage".
Her racism is not pure hatred, but ignorance. She has now discovered her rather embarrassing and inconvenient (from her point of view) ancestry, and isn't intelligent enough to make the most of it.
She could apologise to those she has offended, retract her previous racist statements, and use her new knowledge to relate to those cultures; which might not be completely honest of her but would be a better political move than trying to deny definitive DNA evidence and remain an ignorant racist.
Simply showing some respect for science would slightly increase the appearance of her intellect.
She hasn't done herself any political favours by making herself look even more idiotic, but hopefully she has done Australia a favour by discouraging any voters she may have had.
And, just because it has to be said .... "Plois exploin".

Where does racism go from here? Pauline Hanson's experience?
In my "in general openion", Pauline hanson's experience do not make much difference into the world's racism issue, because still people are victims of inter-oppesing beliefs and thoughts system of racism. People are very week and helpless mentally. They will go on and continue being the victims of racism, that is passed on from generation to generation in the form of treditions and religious retuals. Even if thay do not more have any pure DNA of any Race, they will go on thinking that they belong to a pure race! Mentally most of the people around the world are very much week and against any change with the changing world. Because they are incapable to think logically, and independently. They are just sleepwalking joombiees. Just taking birth, growing, learning some skills to work and live, then marry, procreate, next grow old and one day just die. Nothing more different then any other living organism. They have learnt language, they can work, talk, love, hate, fight, kill, or get killed, that is all they think is the actual living. Many people never come to know that they are nothing more than just unaware victims of the dead old religious and political beliefs and thought systems. Most of the people even dont want love, happiness and joy. They are addicted and fixated into pain, hate, war and misery and they love to be unhappy and make the world equally unhappy as well. They are incapable to see and change beyond their virtual and unreal futile existence. There is no introspection, hence there is no self-development and inner growth, in most of the people. Without introspection and self-development one will become just a stupid victim of racism.

I don't think of Hanson if I can possibly avoid it. She has learned that if she stands for any Parliament, she needs to spend no money on advertising, the media will give her a free run. She will pick up a non-electable number of votes but then gets paid for all the votes she collects. All she has to do is pay her nomination fee, allow the media to do the work for her and pick up a cheque for a few thousand courtesy of the gullible. A nice little earner at the expense of the taxpayers she claims to represent.

considering civilization started in the area of Iraq and spread from there its impossible to only be one race. Go back far enough and your ancestors will be from the Middle East. The only pure ones are probably those whose family are from the middle east today and always have been.

she's the one who thinks her blood should be white, 'cause colored blood just ain't right?
your question "if you don't have a pure race, how can you be racist?" obviously aussie, do you know anything about the american south? hardly racially pure, but many are certainly racist. there needs to be no logic in these viewpoints.

I believe that all of us are racist. Don't you think so ? Be honest. Most if not all people like or feel comfortable mixing with the same race people.
