I was just wondering, are there any programs that anybody knows of that will allow you to use your own webcam as a screensaver.

It is too possible. you have to know what you are doing tho.
I have this myself. The webcam is located at my cabin in flagstaff
and my screensaver/desktop in Phoenix is the image. Pretty dang cool. Heres how you do it.
First off, you will need to have select decent webcams (about 500 dollars), an access point, a wireless usb adapter and expirience with this type of stuff. The webcam requires a computer and the screensaver computer will be different.
And by the way, a backup of your computer if not another old computer. Hint Hint
If you meet all the requirements, it is pretty simple. You hook the cam up to a comp with internet, you use special software called camISP and that allows you to connect to your cam anyware with internet access. Create a live video, add screensaver.

you would probably prefer to call in a professional or carry it someplace. the region are you getting those viruses from?? I genuinely have had a computing device for 10yrs and not in any respect in any appreciate once have I ever gotten a pandemic. do no longer open emails that you don't understand who they were given the following from, and do not bypass to web pages that you don't understand, and similar is going for downloading unknown assistance superhighway web pages. :-)

Never heard of one, but a static picture of your room would defeat the purpose of a screen saver
