Say "I would like a divorce"
Hand him a paper with a list of how you would like things divided, give him 50/50 custody of the children, promise not to live more than 10 minutes away from him. Demand no child support. Be fair.
Try to agree on everything before you go to a lawyer... they will just suck you both dry and end up with all your hard earned money.
Don't be a crab of an ex or vindictive, after all you are the one that married this guy in the first place.
Treat it as a business deal, because that is why it is.

try to find out why you really want to get a divorce. the grass is not always greener on the other side. maybe some marriage counseling could help. if, however you find you really want to get divorced then I agree with the former ladies. get all your paperwork ready (passport, birth certificate, marriage papers) and move those with your most valuable belongings out of the house to a trusted person or relative. then tell him you want a divorce and nothing is going to change that. move out and stand your ground. go to the lawyer and file for divorce. your husband will do anything to get at you, that's natural, but be firm and do what you have to do. every divorce is bad. I wish you the best of luck.

HI Sexy 1, Do what i did. Move half of your belonging out and then tell him you are going to file for a divorce. Then leave. Stick to your ground and don't go back to him. They all try this and will lie and tell you anything you want to hear. Just remember you want a divorce for a reason. A Friend.

WELL I DO NOT KNOW YOUR PROBLEMS WITH YOUR RELATIONSHIP. BUT AS A MAN GOING THRUE A DEVORCE RIGHT NOW. I CAN SAY THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO BREAK THE NEWS BUT ASK YOURSELF ARE YOU JUST GIVING UP ON THIS. WHAT DO YOU WANT IN THE END. BECAUSE IT IS THE EASY WAY OUT. IF YOU FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS PERSON AND MARRIED HIM HE DESERVES EVERY CHANCE . PUT YOURSELF IN HIS SHOES DOES HE LOVE YOU. I THINK TO MANY PEOPLE NOW DAYS GIVE UP TO EASY UNLESS THERE IS VIOLANCE OR CHEATING THERE IS NOTHING TWO PEOPLE CAN NOT WORK THRUE. AND IN THE END IF BOTH OF YOU HAVE PUT 1000%BACK INTO YOUR MARRIAGE THEN GO YOUR SEPARATE WAYS BUT REMAIN FRIENDS THRUE THIS YOU OWE THIS TO EACH OTHER AND TO YOUR SELF. GOOD LUCK. GO GET COUNSELING OR WHAT EVER IT TAKES

Make sure you have all your financial affairs in order. Don't tell him until you seek legal council. Divorce is messy, costly, and embarassing.

Tell him you feel both of you should separate for awhile and tell him how you really feel. Maybe he feels the same way? Hopefully both of you can sit down and express how you feel; with everything that's going on in your life.
