Ive had a Xbox 360 for a while and love it (gears of war is unbelievably good), but wanted a wii for the multiplayer games with my friends. However, since ive gotten the wii, ive been surprised by how much i do play it when im alone. I do own zelda, but ive never been a zelda fan, but what i really play the most are the virtual console games. Those mario games are really a lot of fun to re-explore.

But the wii really is best suited for multi-player games, so if you arent going to use it at all for multi-player, youre probably better off saving your money right now until more proven one-player games come out for it (zelda's the only one right now, but its really no different than the gamecube version)

Sure. It is really fun to be able to interact with the game system with the motion sensing controller. The Wii is the "everyman" system. It is great no matter what kind of gamer you are. However, If you are a more hardcore adult gamer who has experience with videogames, you might try an Xbox 360 (it might be a better fit depending on what kind of games you like to play).

Yes it is. It has some great games like Zelda and soon Metroid. Its a lot of fun for a good price. Pick one up you wont be disappointed.

I would still say get a Xbox 360. It's a better console with better games, even if your not going to play on-line.
