woman to make us straight. Do they feel that confident in their sexuality that they think that they can make us straight as well? I can't understand the arrogance of that statement. Who do they think they are...sexual idyllics???They always strike me as kind of sexually inferior/insecure...so why would they make that statement?

I don't think it's anything quite as high minded as that ... sexual idyllics. More likely ignorance. Try the same tactic on them and see how they react. Approach the hottest guy in the room and try to convince him that until he beds down with you, he will never know what heaven is like. Or walk away from it and don't be bothered. Either way you've got nothing to lose.

People might have different reasons for saying this, but my experience has been that people of the opposite sex say this to a gay or lesbian person usually because they are attracted to them and want to have a shot.
In the cases where it's happened to me, I don't think it was intended as an insult or was even a sign of insecurity, but reflected a simple lack of understanding and was probably, more than anything else, just a case of hormones talking. I just smile, thank them for the compliment, and leave it at that.

i had gfs before i neevr felt anything for them tho but there was sex and everything but i know i was still gay but those were the worst relationship i ever had i feel bad for not treating them right all the time but watever past is past no regrets and no they dint make me str8 lmao i knew iwas gay since i was 8 just went out with girls to cover up my "Gay feelings" due to friends and all that crap

I've always wondered that myself. Considering I'm pretty sure all of them would be REALLY offended if a lesbian/gay man approached them and said "All you really need is one really good man/woman to make you gay."

because they are ignorant and close-minded fools. how do THEY know they aren't gay or lesbian? maybe THEY haven't met the right man or woman? it's one of the most ridiculous, insulting and ignorant questions/statements we hear.

coz they r dumb and they dont understand wat is gay at all.they think guys turn to gays coz no good women,then heartbroken or they even think guys without good women are getting sick and then turn to gays....really funny!!!!
homo is just a life style, str8s cant never understand. so no need to care too much, just be hot and cool and let them jealous coz gay guys r really really HOT!!
