He's from Detroit, it doesn't get any LESS southern than that.

Except for maybe New Jersey.

He has a fake, "I'm trying to sound black but not too much, hopefully people will believe I'm a wild-white-trash crazy guy, but not too much, so I can continue to sell rap music to an audience that demands "street cred" kind of an accent.
