I have this minty/ burning feeling on my throat and chest. Is this called heartburn?

Yes. It's like burning feeling inside of your chest, throat and sometimes in stomach. To relief heartburn, tums, calcium, zantac75 or zantac150. Banana and fresh papaya helps too.

Yes, probably. I am pregnant with my third child and have heartburn like crazy! I was taking tums, but they only seemed to help for a little while. I talked to my doctor and he told me its better to take Zantac because in some pregnant women Tums actually tricks your body into thinking it needs to produce more stomach acid, so you just keep getting heartburn.

Yes it is. It's funny how it's called heartburn. It has nothing to do with the heart but with the digestive system. Antacids help but some contain harmful ingrediants for the baby. TUMS is the most popular, and very safe.

could be. I got terrible heart burn this pregnancy. Had to take medication.. doctor said the meds to less harm the acid burning around baby

try taking milk as u up in the morning.this should calm u...good luck
