I live in Southern California and my one year of Verizon DSL service is coming up for renewal, and they're telling me tha tif I don't renew for a new year, nmy service will continue at a nondiscounted, month-to-month price.

I know that when you renew for a year, the fee is $31.99 per month.

But does anyone know what the month-to-month fee is if you don't renew for a year?

I also have Verison DSL, great speeds for DSL, I prefer it over my local cable provider.
Can you edit your question to include the type of service plan you currently have?

Basically it's their way of make money. If you Renew for your verizon service that means you'll have to stick with them for a year and if you cancel you have to pay up for the cancellation fee , which is $79 . If you're on the Month-to-Month plan then you don't have to pay for cancellation fee ,if you decide to switch to another provider.

Month-to-Month = $34.95
